The Flood

In 2023, rain overtook a man-made lake near the neighborhood I live in. The rain persisted, despite having nowhere else to drain off to causing a huge flood. Many peoples homes were flooded out, and cars were drowned on the street. The national guard took up residence at the grocery store near by and worked to evacuate homes.
